Fall Concert “A Brahms Compilation”
November 2 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
This adventurous Fall Concert features piano soloist Stephen Campitelli performing Shostakovich’s charmingly hectic Second Piano Concerto. The concert opens with the famous snare drum rolls of The Thieving Magpie Overture, an operatic masterpiece by Rossini that is filled with catchy and witty melodies. Then, experience the magic of Brahms like never before as the Immaculata Symphony presents a collection of movements (one from each of the four Brahms symphonies) performed together in a truly unique way. The result is a new symphonic presentation of some of the most beloved melodies Brahms composed during his lifetime.
